New Little Bridges Global resources are in development
Little Bridges Global will continue to develop practical resources for children, teenagers and parents navigating significant change.
The aim is to build a thoughtful collection over time rather than release a large number of products at once. Each resource will be developed for a clear purpose, a defined age group or audience, and a particular type of transition or family need.
The resources below are currently in development.
My New World Workbook
For children approximately 7–12 years
My New World Workbook is being developed for children adapting to a new country, school or environment.
International relocation can be difficult to explain from a child’s point of view. Adults may talk about opportunity, new experiences and the future, while a child is thinking about the friend they left behind, the bedroom that no longer belongs to them, the playground where they knew everyone, or the fact that nothing in the new place feels familiar yet.
The workbook is intended to give children a structured but gentle way to explore those experiences.
It will include opportunities to think about the people and places that still matter to them, recognise different feelings about the move, notice what is becoming familiar in the new environment and begin creating a personal sense of connection and belonging.
The aim is not to persuade children that they should feel positive about moving. It is to give them space to express a fuller range of feelings and to help parents understand more of what may be happening underneath them.

Between Worlds Journal
For older children and teenagers
Between Worlds Journal is being developed as a reflective resource for young people growing up between different countries, cultures or versions of home.
As children get older, relocation can become connected to wider questions about identity. A teenager may feel strongly attached to the country they left, identify with several cultures at once, or find that they feel different depending on where they are.
These experiences are not necessarily problems to be solved, but they can be difficult to describe.
The journal will provide space for private reflection on themes such as belonging, friendships, memory, culture, family, change and the meaning of home.
Rather than telling young people how they should interpret their international experience, the journal is intended to help them develop their own language for it.

Why these resources are being developed
Little Bridges Global resources are intended to complement, rather than duplicate, the information already available to families.
A parent guide serves one purpose. A workbook or journal can serve another.
Children and teenagers may sometimes find it easier to express themselves through writing, drawing, structured reflection or private prompts than through direct conversations with adults. Well-designed resources can also give parents a different way of opening conversations without repeatedly asking a child how they are feeling.
Future resources will therefore be developed according to the needs of particular age groups and situations rather than as generic “wellbeing” products.
