Practical, research-informed support for families

Little Bridges Global develops resources for parents, children and young people navigating significant family transitions.

The aim is not to create a large catalogue of generic wellbeing products. Each resource is developed for a clear audience, age group or situation and is intended to make useful psychological and developmental understanding easier to apply in everyday family life.

At launch, the principal publication is The First 90 Days: A Parent Guide to Helping Your Child Thrive After Moving Abroad.

A Parent Guide to Helping Your Child Thrive After Moving Abroad

The First 90 Days by Žana Barros Da Silva — book cover

An international move can affect far more than a child’s address or school.

The First 90 Days helps parents understand adjustment during the first weeks and months after moving abroad, including changes in behaviour, friendships, school experience, confidence, identity and belonging.

The book combines research-informed psychological understanding with practical, age-sensitive guidance for parents.

Resources for parents

Parents often have to support children through transition while managing significant change themselves.

Little Bridges Global parent resources are designed to help adults understand behaviour and adjustment more clearly, recognise developmental differences and find practical ways to respond without treating every difficult emotion as a problem to be eliminated.

Future parent resources may address relocation, separation, school change, belonging, neurodiversity-related transitions and other significant family experiences.

Resources for children and young people

Children do not always communicate difficult experiences through direct conversation.

Future Little Bridges Global resources for children and teenagers may use writing, drawing, structured reflection and age-appropriate prompts to help young people understand change and develop language for experiences they may find difficult to explain.

The purpose is not to encourage children to analyse themselves unnecessarily, but to provide developmentally appropriate tools for reflection, communication and connection.

Research-informed, but designed for real life

Little Bridges Global draws on psychological and developmental research where relevant while recognising that research cannot predict exactly how one particular child or family will respond.

Resources therefore use research as a foundation rather than as a promise that one strategy will work for everybody.

Resources for organisations

Schools, employers, relocation providers and other organisations may also be interested in Little Bridges Global publications and resources.

Bulk purchasing, organisational packages and institutional digital licensing are handled separately from individual consumer purchases.
